I skied Snowbird today and it was good in the right places. It must of have been terrible yesterday off-piste, because there was an ugly, shiny, noisy, yellow ice underneath over much (but not all) of the off groomers. The snow today covered much of it, but it is still there, waiting. Most of what we were on today skied well, even though it only snowed a couple inches. There were many "thin" soft, untracked powder turns to be had. It needs a good 2 foot dump to erase the weather sins of the past 4 weeks, but there is no reason you can't have a good day right now. We did.
