hello everyone...title says it but here's the scoop:
-advanced/expert skier owning only 184 2012 Volkl Mantra's (which I love BTW)
- ski primarily on groomed/mixed conditions here in Pa. (Elk Mtn)
-6-2, 195#, a young 50 ;-) skiing since my 20's
-also ski at sugarbush a few times a year where the Mantra's really shine - powder, mixed conditions
been out of the all mtn category game for a few years and wanted something mid 80's underfoot, same 184ish length would be fine - want to make shorter turns with less effort than what I currently ride, but also enjoy opening it up GS-style.
been a HEAD fan during the Monster years (used to have the IM72's and 77's)......I'm looking for a deal of course on an older model maybe; Peak 84?? doesn't have to be the latest year model. The Peak 84 interested me because of how it acts as conventional on groomers but rockerish in crud/powder.
any recommendation is appreciated for a frontside east ski that likes to make quick turns and go fast as well.
