Need alittle more toe room

Thread Starter

I'm skiing a new pair of Head Raptor 130RS boots this year size 26.5. Previous boots were the Tecnica Inferno Diablo 130 and Salomon Falcon Pro CS. All boots in 26/26.5. Left foot is almost a half shoe size larger than right foot and the second toe extends longer than the big toe. The left foot is a performance fit @ ~ 1 cm. shell fit. I've had problems with the left foot second toe knuckle hitting the top of the toe box hard and getting inflamed. While just touches the front of toe box, it backs off when skiing. Not gripping toes when skiing. No problems with right foot. Love the boots. Had other typical issues ground/punched. What are the typical steps that could be done to provide just alittle more room for this knuckle on the second toe and the ease to do these steps? Thanks.

so if you got more length, then the top of the toe wouldn't hit and would stop hurting you?    Get the liner stretched,   good footbed, thinner sock, and if needed a punch on the shell for length
