I asked her where she bought them, "Jackson Hole Sports" she said, I said by any chance was your fitter a tall blond guy named Stephen?  "Yes! she said, he was great.

I've got a better one. A friend and I were riding the bus from Teton Village into Jackson for dinner. Some of the topics that the guy sitting in front of us was talking about seemed awfully familiar. After a while I asked him if he was Skiing in Jackson. He was. He gave us a beer.

(The Last direct bus, around 7 or 8 -- I forget -- is the party bus. Mostly folks heading home from work. )

Well my skis are so fat...oh wrong thread...

I was on a chairlift in VT listening to two people talk about their trip to Jackson Hole. Every once in a while they'd talk about a "Bob". So at one point I asked, "Are you talking about Bob Peters?" Sure enough it was Bob.

Hey - speaking of that guy...

What was the deal on Facebook the other day?  By the time I got home from, errr, skiing I had emails with several references to something I was tagged on in Facebook but the link had been taken down.  Whatever it was seemed somewhat less than complimentary.

Should I be concerned?

How odd.  I haven't seen any notifications about you being mentioned or tagged on fb recently, but I don't get them from all facebook contacts in my friends list.  I certainly didn't tag anything with your user name yesterday.  Weird.  I have mine set to require that I review anything tagged with my name there before it is viewable to others publicly.  I really like that feature.  But if someone deleted a tagged post before I approved it that sounds like what happened to you yesterday..

And, your skis are so fast that world cup heroes try to steal them :p

I had the same thing happen to me recently, turned out to be Josh M. It seems he was seriously confused about a thread on TGR and trying to stalk and threaten me. Problem was that it wasn't me he was pissed at...this time anyway. biggrin.gif He took all the FB stuff down. I guess the world wasn't small enough that time.

I still think the definition of "small world" is me running into you and Russ in Albertson's that one day.  That was pretty cool.
