Atomic GS RACE S 12 - 180

Hello,

I am an intermediate to advanced skier who want to carve up here in Tremblant. (Hard packed snow normally) I plan to pick up a pair of the Atomic GS S 12 - 180. Super good deal.

I weigh 200 pounds and am 6 feet tall.

My sustained speed on my Line Sick Days as of Trace Snow App is around 45 mph or 65 kph. On days with perfect conditions I can get far above that but it is dangerous.

I want to carve at around 55 or 60 mph. Is this the ski for me???

My Line Sick Days are an all mountain ski but I do not feel safe.

I am trying them on Thursday. Any advice. What differences will I notice?

I am very excited to have these skis. I think they are the right skis.

I think you should be paging @Atomicman, for details, but they sound like a great choice for your stated goals!

Not familiar with that particular ski, but a good modern GS ski should do the trick.  You could also pick up a Super G ski, but that would not be as versatile.
