Skis for Teenage Daughter

Thread Starter

I'm looking to get some new skis for my teenage daughter who is 15 years old ,110lbs , 5'2" and an intermediate skier, skiing in the alps.

I was originally looking at the Blizzard Black Pearl but am now moving towards the Cheyenne . Realistically she spends most of the time on piste but is just starting to venture off piste now and then. I was planning on getting the ski in a 151cm as this was the size of her recent hire ski .

Any recommendation on this ski or any other suitable skis along with size and suitable bindings would be much appreciated .

For what it's worth, I own the BPs at 159cm and have used them in a variety of conditions in the Mid-Atlantic and out west.  I'm an older petite skier (5'0", 120 pounds) who had started skiing off-piste a few years before demo'ing the BPs at Big Sky.  Was an intermediate when I started skiing regularly about 10 years ago.  Recently I demo'd the Cheyenne at my little home mountain in northern VA.  For reasons I can't explain, I didn't like them.  Conditions were very good for Mid-A with lots of new manmade snow that had never thawed and re-frozen during the early Jan frigid snap (temps under 25 for several days before the Demo Day).

What I liked a lot were the Temptation 80 and Temptation 84.
