Denver / Boulder locals ticket prices ??

Can some locals help me out... years ago supermarkets and ski shops sold lift tickets.  I just made plans to go to summit county for the month of Feb and they've stopped selling epic passes.  I looked at the advance purchase prices on the mountain's sites and although they're below the window price I was wondering what locals do when they don't have a season pass.  Can anyone post sources?   and prices for keystone/breck or copper?

I did search here but only found old threads....

Copper is still selling season passes for $499, pretty good deal for mid-Jan:

I'm not sure, but I think liftopia and buying in advance through the resorts' websites has taken the place of buying at King Soopers.   If there is more than one of you coming, Copper has a shell bogo deal when you buy gas.  I think it's gonna be hard to find a good deal on Breck and Keystone.

I'd just buy the Copper Pass, then maybe buy a few extra days at Loveland and A-basin now and then if you want more variety.

this is just what I wanted .. BUT... there's no date on the article.  I'll call a couple of the stores to see if it's still true.

Ya, that lovetoknow site is really sketchy--I looked at the source for the page, hoping there would be a date someplace on there, but no, just tons and tons of adbots and web bugs.  The author of the article seems like an interesting person:  http://www.lovetoknow.com/member/25~lisa-marie-mercer

Looks like her studio is out of business: http://www.mountainsportfitness.com/

So I'm guessing the article is a little old...
