Please Help me Pick the right Ski for Colorado - Page 2

I wouldn't pick many of those skis for moguls!  Most seem like wide backside skis more than anything; for moguls, something more traditional in camber and moderate in flex is a better choice.  Under 100mm preferably.  I have skied CO a few times, all in new snow days, and the first time, I was on an 88mm underfoot Dyanstar, and the 2nd time, my MX88. Both were money widths; really good in soft bumps, great for new snow, and after an hour, they crushed the leftover crud.  I like the recommendation of the Rossi E88, it is a great bump ski.  As is the MX88.  Finndog skis the FX94 as his everyday ski, he is about your size (Steamboat skier mostly).  E100 might be a good choice too.  Stockli SR88 and SR95.  Fischer Motive 95ti, new Head Monster 88 are a few. There are a bunch more too.  There are a few decent over 100mm bump skis, and a lot of bad ones.

Try the SR95's, they actually go great in the bumps, hold on packed, and are really fun.
