Easiest tree skiing near Vail Breckenridge, Keystone, and Beaver Creek in march.

So i am making a focused effort to become a better tree skier. However I find that when i try to ski trees out of my league (like i did last year a revelstoke) my technique goes out the window because I am skiing scared.

Any tips on some easier sections of tree skiing in march of the vail area? We have a 5 out of 7 day pass to the vail resorts and an AWD suv with snow tires. we will be staying at vail for 3 days and breck for 3 days.

Any areas of the mountains within driving distance to check out for amateur / intermediate tree skiing areas.

Thanks
