which side to add tape to for canting?

I want to test out whether I have alignment issues. My right foot is too much on the inside edge. I have trouble switching to the outside edge on that foot as compared to my left foot. If I am to add tape to the bottom of my rigid boot board (the hard plastic piece between my liner and the shell), should I be putting the tape on the inside or outside edge? I want to be less inside edged and make it easier to switch to the outside edge.

thanks

What you are talking about is not canting.  Canting happens under the boot or binding only.  I recommend getting your alignment assessed instead of the experimentation.  But if you are pronated the tape goes on the inside, however you are simplifying the methods.
