Koflach 911 Comp - What are these adjustments?

Anybody remember these boots?

I took up skiing again last winter and I'm still using my Koflach Comp 911 boots.  They are still in good shape, fitted to my newer bindings and I am quite happy with them (although I could probably benefit from a boot that was less stiff).  But, the fact that they are working for me and that my wallet is rather empty, I would like to keep using them -- at least for awhile yet...

But:  What are these adjustments?   What do they adjust?   And should I try to use them?  Or, are they mostly just ornaments...   There are 3 of them:  one on the back, one on both sides that are adjusted by screws on the back (not shown in my photos), and one on the inside side of each boot.

Unfortunately, any user's guide is long gone and the shop that sold them to me now knows nothing about them.   So, I am hoping somebody here can help?

I figure that whatever they adjust is probably not adjusted correctly, but not knowing what each of them do, has me stymied.  Here are pics...

Any help will be much appreciated...

p.s.:   Actually I love these boots, they are comfortable, warm and work well for me.  I just want to get the most out of them.

Back adjustment is forward lean, it moves (tilts) the upper cuff fore/aft.

the side adjustment is cuff alignment, it tilts the cuff from side to side.

I would suggest not using them, if the boot isn't broken yet don't mess with it (wait, you aren't an engineer are you?).

LOL...  (former) software engineer who knew that if wasn't broke that I shouldn't fix it!

Any idea what the knob on the inside does (its only on the inside side of each boot)
