Yes the show is quickly approaching and there are a few skis that I/We are really looking forward to testing and passing along our complete reviews on. We have had a chance to fondle some of these skis and while surprises are tried to to be kept until SIA information does leak out. We try to respect that photos are embargoed unless the manufacturer chooses to let them out (like the Enforcer Proto) but here are some of what we have seen and will be at the skis that we are excited to review:
Bonafide, one of the class leaders in the highly competitive 98/100mm category. Carbon at the extremities to reduce swing weight. Looks even better than this years model
Cochise/Bodacious: Like the Bone, carbon at the extremities but also an all new tip & tail shape.
ZeroG collection, a completely new collection of back/side country skis that replace the current offerings. Tahoe tested and Tahoe approved.
Cham 2.0, new shapes for the Cham 97 & 107
Glory, new women series similar to the PowerTrack series but different molds & flexes
Pivot/SPX, new toe for 12/14DIN bindings that offer WTR
Rev's are gone, replaced by the a new frontside series and new Monster collection, both with Graphene.
New FX/BMX collection
Biggest revamp in their line in almost 20 years. The Luv is back on the women side and the men's series is now iKonic. Both are all new but very K2 in flex.
We have seen the Enforcer Proto, there will be a ladies version that has Trekchick real excited.
FireArrow, new 74, 76 & 80
Belle collection gets a new lightweight construction
Pursuit frontside collection is all new with airtip and and aggressive sidecut
FKS/Axial3, new toe for 12/14DIN bindings that offer WTR
Sagebrush, new 100mm addition to the Sun Valley Collection with The Ski and The Black Majic
RTM's are all new, with camber and a new construction and design...and binding..and...and..
Kendo, takes the shape of the Mantra, and moves up to 90 underfoot.
9Eight, all new light weight 98mm all mountain ski
New junior race bindings
Note there are some brands not mentioned above, it is not because we are we are not excited for their new skis, we haven't seen any yet and will get to at SIA & Copper.
