Full Tilt Boot Problem

Thread Starter

Whenever I buckle my Full Tilt Dropkicks tightly, after skiing for a little while, the bottom buckles on both boots will pop forward to the loosest setting, and I will have to retighten them. It is like there is too much pressure on the cable and buckle so it pops out of the tightened position. It is not a huge deal because I can still ski even if the bottom buckle is on a loose setting, but is kinda frustrating because these boots are brand new and I really like the style, comfort, warmth, and weight of them. Has anyone else experienced this?

I have a new pair of Full Tilt Classics, only skied twice so far, but did not have that problem.  Are you buckling that buckle pretty tight? Whether I'm in three or four buckle boots, the toe buckle is never tighter than what is needed to keep it from flopping.  You don't get any control from that buckle so why do it tighter than necessary?

How much you need the buckle doesn't matter.  This should be a warranty repair.

I never had such a problem with my identical Flexons over their 14 years, nor my Full Tilts over their 5 years.
