If you ever want to tackle that I'd be more than willing to show you the way there. It's a great run, usually called Lone Pine by most locals (because of the obvious tree in the middle of the run). It's a bit steep at the tippy top, but not too bad after that.
Getting there is probably a bit tougher than the actual run itself. There are two ways, the frontside cirque traverse or the backside. The backside is a bit easier because it doesn't involve the aptly named "P-tex Point." Either way can be a bit unnerving, you'll be traversing over terrain you wouldn't want to fall into. Once there the views are fantastic, you have a great look down into the Gad valley and the City as well.
The namesake of the run.
The start of the backside traverse, atop South Chute.
The view from the Beach, which is just above the start of Lone Pine.
Keep up the great reports!
