Hi, Im from TX and im planing to trip to Aspen CO because me and my wife want to try skiing for our first time.

the question is, can we get nice snow conditions to practice skiing on this dates?

I dont want to go if we cant get snow, since we are from TX and we have always hot weather without snow.

Thankyou sorry for my bad english.

Yes, you can get nice snow.  Aspen/Snowmass has a program called Beginner Magic at Buttermilk and Snowmass.  Beginner Magic includes boots, skis, poles and helmet if you don't have one.  It is a great program!

The beginner area at Snowmass is also at the top of the Elk Camp Gondola and the snow stays a lot nicer up that high.  You'll really like it!

We will stay at Aspen, Mountain Chalet Hotel, that hotel is really close the Aspen Mountain but seems to be a Inter-expert Mountain so we planing to take the shuttle to Buttermilk or Snowmass why not, do you know if that shuttle goes to Snowmass? and how long it takes ?

Mountain Chalet is a classic old ski lodge with a very good location.  The shuttle is right across the street and takes 10 minutes to Buttermilk and 20 to Snowmass.

Try Buttermilk first, it's a nice hill.

The beginner run is at the very bottom and will soften early, but may be a little sloppy late in the day.  If it's too sloppy for you, then try Snowmass.
