So I'm just looking for some quick opinions of what other people think. I'd like to start off by saying I'm about 5'8" - 5'9", around the 165 lbs mark, 23 years old. I'm a pretty aggressive skier, been skiing my whole like and love going off trail. I'll go pretty much anywhere on the mountain except for those places that you need to hike up to and have avalanche gear and stuff, but that's mostly because I don't have the gear, I'd like to start doing that some day. So anyway with that background info here is my question. A friend is selling a used pair of skis for a good price and I'm thinking of buying them, I have a good all mountain ski, about 165 cm I think (not at home right now to check, and they're a little short because I've had them since I was like 15) but I've always wanted something better for those good snow days and going into the powder and down the double blacks. They are Salomon Shogun (09/10) 191 cm long and 131-102-121. The widths sound right I'm just concerned that they might be a little long making them too heavy to handle. Any opinion is helpful, thanks!
Need opinions on buying some new powder skis.

Too long. I'm 5'10" 185 and like staying in 180cm range. Perfect! 190 is too hard to sling through trees and moguls coming down hill from
powder skiing. Doable but not recommended. I have Fischer Watea 178 (138 94 128) all mountain. Awesome and good for anything.
When it's deep I ski Armada Magic J 180 (139 143 126 137). These skis are bad ass!! I love big bowl skiing and they're perfect. Super wide but handle anything well due to lightness and early rise. Both skis are expensive but worth it! Also thing VOLKL skis are great value and work super nice, with lots of width options. Heavier and have great edges!
