Welcome luv2ski_anywer!

We could use the opinions of the younger skiers! How long have you been skiing and where do you usually ski?

Welcome to EpicSki, i was 16 when i started reading here i think and have been reading and posting ever since. Its a good site to learn a lot about skiing, ski areas, and ski gear. My original name was in the first 400 or 500 members so once youre here for awhile you get to know a lot of people through their frequent posts. Enjoy the site, there arent any others like it that have such quality discussions about skiing.

I'm 18, still young. I am fairly new here and I was worried about the lack of youth here at Epic also at first. I now undersand that Epicski is more rewarding to belong to than say, NS, TGR,or Powdermag fourms. The talks here are more thought out and mature but less exotic and exciting for a teen because of the heavy moderation and older crowd. However I believe the people here are good people and would go far to help out a fellow bear. Stick around, I know I will.

Welcome luv2ski_a...,I hope you enjoy the forums. I have a 14 year old that started out at age 2 and has taken up boarding this year, doesn't post here though. I hope you have some luck finding some teens to talk skiing with.

We may be old, we may be crotchety, menopausal, kvetchy, and irritable at times, but we're also a very forgiving and harmonious bunch.

Welcome!

Skierteach teaches at Wachussett. Perhaps you'll bump into her sometime!

No, I teach at Pine Ridge...but I have a Century pass to Wachusett and go a couple nights a week. I choose not to teach at WAWA, I like my quiet little area.

luv2ski...I tried to send you a PM, but it doesn't work! What school group are you part of? Wouldn't it be funny if you were part of the school group from the school where I teach. I am one of their chaperones.

Hehehe, very funny! I have no idea why they call it the Century Pass, but I certainly am not 100 (but some days I feel like it). My 8 year old nephew also has a century pass. The Century pass is a nights and weekdays only pass and if you get it on the GPS plan it costs $189 a year (at least this year). My thought is that maybe when they first started the pass it only cost $100, but I may be wrong.
