I am new here...but, am very interested in this. Take it easy on me, as I am an admitted n00b to these forums.

Thanks,

There's a Gathering this year, but not an Epic Ski Academy. It's the end of February and it's at Jackson.

Welcome to EpicSki!  Although you will find plenty of threads about past ESA clinics, they have not been held for several years.

Looks like you are in MN.  Have you found the regional thread?

Hi @Headstyle, Welcome to EpicSki.

EpicSki Academy took a hiatus a few years ago and has not been revived at this time.

There is always hope of re-creating an ESA of some kind but costs and time constraints have prevented that from happening.

If you are interested in taking a lesson from one of our amazing ESA Coaches please let us know where you'll be skiing and we may be able to put you in touch with one of the coaches for a lesson on their home mountain.

Whoa, that would be sweet. I will be in Big Sky for the entire final week of February. (23rd - 27th)

Fingers Crossed. Thanks for the warm welcome! I shall also check out the Local MN thread...Thanks all..

Doesn't Vail Resorts own Epicski now?  Maybe the Vail Ski School  could revive ESA as a branding opportunity.  IIRC ESA used to do Stowe on early season weekends at premium prices.

We've been talking about this.  Its possible to see an ESA in the future but it won't be built on the same platform that we once used.

Thanks,

If you are in Big Sky and want a lesson, ask for Ursula..She skied with the Epic crew when the gathering was as BS. She is a marvelous skier and coach.

Umm, the OP asked the question a year ago in Jan 2015.  Agree that Ursula is pretty amazing.
