Where can i get plates?

So I had my new Kastle MX78's come in and in my hunt for some bindings the only thing around I could find in a 80mm brake was Rossignol Axial3 120 MFX. Went and picked up my bindings last night and got them home all pumped up to swing by the local hill tonight and get them mounted, opened the box to discover they need to be mounted with plates. Short story went to Rossignol website and in the description i find this "The AXIAL³ 120 MAXFLEX is designed for use with R20, R18 or I-Box WC plates only."

The guy did mention when buying them that they are usually paired with the Hero race ski's but never mentioned hey these bindings get mounted on the plates that come on those skis. So where exactly can i get one of those plates? Would a local race shop have those laying around? Should i save myself the time tracking a pair down and get different bindings?

Yes, just take them back and get another binding.

You also might want to look for another ski shop, since the one you went to sold you bindings without the plates to mount them with!

I was able to score a trade with a local race shop even up for a new pair of bindings that will work just fine. Thankfully everything worked out as the original shop is roughly a 2 hour round trip.

I have 2 pairs of WC I-box plates from Dynastars that fit the Look PX and Rossi Axial bindings if you should ever need them.

Thanks I'll keep that in mind Zero, I really liked the bindings. I'm sure i'll pick up more ski's here this year yet.

I have a set of Head race places (the plastic ones, not full metal) that will accept any binding, if anyone is in the market.  I had them ordered for my MX78's, but then the 78's sold on my day off. I forgot to grab them off the wall.

See now if someone tossed those in my box with the MX78's that shipped out I would have had some plates :)
