So me and my buddy KB are doing our annual Rocky Mtn ski trip, last year we did Steamboat, Copper and A-Basin. We are all about tree skiing and are in search of that fresh untouched pow pow, both of us are advanced skiers without avy gear. We are going Jan 30th-Feb 8th or so and plan on doing most of our skiing midweek. That being said lets get to the meat and potatoes of my post.
Trip A: Wolf Creek, Winter Park and MAYBE Monarch (have a free ticket there and heard they do cat skiing)
Trip B: Wolf Creek (or Steamboat), Powder Mountain, maybe Brighton and Solitude
The thing about trip B is that we would save $$ by not having to rent a hotel room in SLC, we could stay with friends, but its also alot of driving. 4hrs from Denver to WC, 8hrs from WC to SLC, and 7hrs to drive back from SLC to Denver. And the flights to denver are literally half of the price of the flights to SLC
Whatta ya guys think???
