cheapest shuttle from airport to Park City

I'm looking for a cheap, reliable shuttle service from the SLC airport to Park City.  Googling yields 28 competing websites with full reservation screens before they reveal the price.  Anyone got a lead on the best company or source for info?

Thanks.

When we were looking for a reservation-only shuttle for our trip to PC last year, it seemed like most were in the $100 - $125 range, not including gratuity. We used Pro-Trans, who have nice Suburban's or similar with rooftop storage and found them to be very professional and reliable. With a decent tip, it was $120 each way and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

If it's just you and maybe one other person it's probably cheaper to do a shared ride. And yes there are a bunch of them. Allresorts is one I think.

I've posted here many times that I'm anti-shuttle, pro-car rental based on price/ flexibility. Reading this thread though I got thinking, what would a standard taxi charge you? Around here in Canada, going a similar distance you might be able to finagle a deal for maybe $75 for a similar distance. In the US, things are usually cheaper.

You can take public transportation for $7 if you are not traveling with too much baggage and can take advantage of limited service from downtown Salt Lake which seems designed for getting people to/from work and is even more limited on weekends.

ive been to PC 4 times (i think), and unless you are skiing outside of the 3 resorts there, i think renting a car is a losing proposition. i see no need for it, or any economical advantage that would outweigh the risk/hassle/time of renting a car, especially if carrying a few sets of skis.

but maybe im wrong!

Id normally try and prove my point through an hour of research, but not today!

Well, just to finish up on the original post: I'm going to meet my daughter who teaches at PCMR.  She and her boyfriend both have cars, so I'm set once I get from the airport to PC.  That was MY question.

Now, feel free to hijack the thread anywhere you want. ;)

No hijack here. You just need to get to PC and there are a lot of options from shared to private.

I posted on a similar thread recently, but I booked a trip with Ski Taxi for $85 each way, plus $10 if you want to stop at one of the discount lift ticket spots.
