SLC during the Holidadys

Anybody over there? Curious to hear what's going on there. Resorts have been closed the last couple of days, with late start for just a few lifts. More snow to come, lots of alerts from winter storms to travel hazards and avalanche danger in the backcountry.

Anybody finding anywhere to ski?

Edited for accuracy:

Check the resort websites or Ski Utah. I haven't heard about resort closures, though there may have been some wind holds on Sunday and Monday. The last storm dumped as much as 36" (Alta) and quite a bit elsewhere, so the holidays look good.

Winds were crazy with the last storm. The next storm coming in should be colder...and with some base underneath,  it should be some prime storm and beyond skiing.

Ha. Snowbird didn't open at all Monday (except Chickadee...) Yesterday Bird was all but shut down. Only Gadzoom and MidGad running, then Gad Two. That's it. Hour and twenty minutes in the lift line at first. No BS. It was hell. Wilbere avalanched all the way down to Big Emma, so they were taking no chances. Got some nice powder turns, then went home. Alta today was different. High Traverse opened for the first time this season. Snow was cold and deep in the just opened terrain, soft and velvety on the groomers and exposed faces. It was heaven. Storm coming in tonight, checking the expected totals, wow.
