With the heavy rain at WB not so long ago, I was expected northleast style dust-on-crust, but was pleasantly surprised by the conditions.
Early on, Whistler had some decent stuff off the peak on the Saddle, and over on Harmony. With a constant dusting it was OK. Late afternoon, on Friday Symphony chair opened for the first time this season with a lot of hooting and hollering to be had:
Got over to Rhapsody Bowl, and mine were some of the first tracks of the season:
It continued to snow reasonably hard, although the conditions never came out as good as the predictions:
Saturday night there was a decent snowfall (9 inches allegedly), which with the combination of the beginning of the Christmas rush, made for a complete liftline cluster.
Anyway, we got up on an early lift, and there was some nice scenery:
Anyway, you can file this one under "we-all-know-how-to-take-pictures-that-make-it-appear-deeper-than-it-was" file, but Bark Sandwich was VERY nice and soft, as the hordes hadn't inflicted themselves on it by 9:30:

Anyway, it's going to be warmer with the great unwashed descending on the place for the next couple of weeks. Glad I've had the days I've had so far.
