Fischer RC4 WC RC with flowflex

Need new bindings for the 2008 model of this ski. Any recommendations?

The current Fischer skis of this type come with Tyrolia/Fischer Powerrail bindings.  That would seem to be the place to start.  Do the current skis have a plate?  Note that the older plates (Railflex etc.) are a different width and won't take the new bindings.  You have to change the plate but luckily the screw pattern is the same so its an easy job.

Yes the ski has the flowflex plate. I am not sure if they can even be removed to put a new style plate on. I may even run without the plate if they can be taken off

Not familiar with the Flowflex plate, but I'm sure it can be removed.  Since all the other Fischer/Head/Tyrolia plates seem to have the same screw mounting pattern, there's a chance that plate does as well.  If you can find a pair of bindings that mount on that plate, that would be the easiest option.  If you remove the plate, your options will be increased, though many will involve plugging the current holes and then redrilling for the new bindings.  I would check with a local or online shop.  A PM to dawgcatching or Philplug that both post on here and have ski shops would be a good starting point.

Thanks for your input. I was thinking of removing the plates to put what ever binding I like. I will have to check out some shops. The one closest to me is not very good.

I have the same set up on my SL skies I think any Tyrolia binding will screw into plate.

Looking at a google image of a your '08 RC skis, it appears you can use any of the Fischer-Head-Tyrolia 'Freeflex' bindings. You should simply be able to screw a new set into the pre-drilled holes on the top of your flowflex plates.
