Breaking in new Lange RS 130s: Will extra heat speed up liner/shell forming

I have new Lange RS 130s and they feel duly tight in spots, esp around the heels. Which is fine and "as expected".

However, I also expect that the liners will settle down a little bit after some use and allow at least a few droplets of blood into my heels, eventually :-) So I have been eating dinner with my boots on for a couple of days, hoping to break them in a bit before taking them out skiing. And it is sort-a helping, but it's slow going.

So, if I heated the shells in boiling water or vapour (Zipfit-style), put the liners in and buckle up, is this supposed/expected to help the liners (end the even shells, to some extent) form to my feet faster?

Thanks!

the fastest/bestest way to break in a boot is to go skiing. after all it is winter.
