I have a brand new pair of older BD Crossbows with a waist of 83 that i'm going to mount my Titanal 3 bindings... what brake width should i look for?

Personal preference. Brakes - less fussy, a released ski less likely to beat on you, more likely to keep an unattended ski from taking off downhill like a scorched cat. Leashes - lighter, less likely to cause mechanical issues.
