K2 Annex 118 Length Question

Hi, I've come across a killer deal for K2 Annex 118 (2013/2014 model year) at $190. I want to pick them up but I'm unsure which length to go for. I'm 6ft, 180lbs and advanced but not expert. I currently have some Dynastar Cham 97s at 184cm as my all mountains which I just picked up used this season but skied well the one day so far. The Annex is offered in 181cm and 188cm. 188cm strikes me as looong, but it is a 50/50 rocker/camber/rocker ski. Does anyone have experience with this ski and have a length recommendation?

188 is pretty long in that particular ski.

Doing some Seth Morrison creeping it seems he skis the 2015s at 184cm (not available for 2014s). Seems unlikely I need a longer ski than Seth Morrison himself.

"in my ski the annex 118 I use the 184cm. Not sure where you ski but size wise they are shorter these days"

Ah, if you were over on TGR they'd consider Seth a wuss for running such short skis.

I just got a pair of 188's but haven't mounted them so I have no opinions yet.  Except that at 6'2", 240 I never considered anything shorter.  I think the 184 that Seth is referring to is the same as the previous year's 181:  it's just that K2 is renumbering the sizes to reflect that their 181 is really a 184 and the 188 is really a 191 etc.

Hold the presses: I just checked.  The 2014 188cm measures 188cm.  Go figure.  A 188cm Sidestash measures 191cm.  Now K2 has gone from confusing to confusing and inconsistent!

Anyways, I like the feel of the flex, the long tip rise looks good for powder, and the tail looks nice with a bit of rocker but nothing extreme.  More comments after I actually ski them.

I have a 181 sideseth, which I believe is the same ski as the 13/14 annex 118.  I'm 6 ft and 200-205 lbs.  I only got to use it a 3-4 times last year due to our poor snow conditions, but I found It had adequate float and I didn't need a longer ski.
