What kind of skier are you? - Page 2

Clearly, there's a bit of a bias to this thing, and I fit right into it. 134.

Got to the opening page, saw the mountain and start daydreaming about skiing, what test?

Think the answer is Merikan.  Not many bones for the Canucks or ROWers

FLAWED POLL!

They misspelled 'Nava'.

And the WM movie was unclickable.

103  but 21 pairs of (skiable right now) skis counted for a lot.

57.  If you don't travel much and you don't care about ski racing, you just can't score very high.

75.  LOL @ the shout out to Buck Hill:yahoo:

Ya, I had at least 5 that weren't "clickable" but then sometimes the weather just doesn't work out either..

For me the unclickable items still added to the score.  In fact I racked up about 15 points trying to get one check box to work before I noticed.

Well, I really should have gotten more (like 5x)  credit for the injury list, but I really don't want to exceed MR's score.

66 but I'm going to re-take it because the wife wants me to find 3 more points before bed this evening:eek;)

Well, I'm dorkier than Seg but not quite as dorky as a couple others.

And any time someone mentions the word dork, I have to post one of my all-time favorite photos.  This is a girl we rode up the chair with on the last day of the season at Targhee in 2007:

61... Unless I lose points for the world cup race I attended being a Telemark race at my home mountain.

On the other hand I was a gate setter for a Pro race....at night....at Afton Alps....Where I was nearly run over by Otto Tschudi. That must be 3 points right there.

You just have to remember this is the magazine that about a decade ago had an article about the 50(?) most influential people in ski history. Jonny Moseley was in the top 10, Howard Head didn't make the cut.

So do a Canadian version.    Shouldn't be too difficult, really.

A learning exercise?   An existence proof of alternative possibility?    Of course since you're asking why it probably wouldn't be fun for you so all those other hypothetical reasons go out with the wash.
