Take the test.
I got 82.
Yes, especially for Western skiers, except I don't know about the famous people? I couldn't check anything on the Eastern side though.
These tests are really all so accurate and meaningful, anyway. Once I took one of those online tests to tell me I was a Ballerina Barbie. So, yes, take it all very seriously. :-)
Now I'm trying to figure out if "things going downhill" is a good or bad thing on a ski forum...
I got 17, I think. Not too interested in the culture/history/popular places* of skiing, I just want to ride the lift to the top and make my way back down without hitting a tree too hard. Ok, I am interested in riding some of the bigger places in CO/UT/MT/AK, but lack of $$ won't allow that.
*I've been to Squaw, once, for a day, and I don't remember any of it except for skiing the long run down the entire mountain at the end of the day, but I counted it, dammit!
There where some questions that I knew because of being 25 years in JH and having some AK connections. Being in the industry doesn't hurt either as well as lurking on Epic. Over 100 the test comments ask if you have a job. I have several jobs and for 1/3 of the year my primary job is skiing. It's almost embarrassing to know so much about something that "means" so little.
