shin pain

So, 20 years ago I skied through the pain every weekend for 3 years. My shins were bruised and I could feel a slight dent in my tibia when I rubbed it, right about where the top of my stiff rear-entry boot hit. Over the past 20 years I've only skied a few times a year, but my shins still bug me when I lean on the front of my boot.any suggestions?

New boots that fit, make sure your liners aren't packed out, and/or use Booster Straps to get a more gradual engagement with the front of the boot?

Making sure your buckles are done up so there's roughly even pressure along your shin might help, too.
