Mt. Ashland, Oregon is recovering from last season's inability to open. The 501(c)(3) non-profit owned community ski area just launched a Crowdfunding campaign.
The mountain I learned to ski on during their second year of operation when they had a rope tow, palma lift, two T bars and a Riblet chair. Even during the horrid droughts of the 70s they were able to operate for a few months each season. Last year they didn't open at all. It looks like I'm too late for this campaign, darn.
