Norquay has (barely) been maintaining snow on the main groomers, but given the conditions this year I wouldn't recommend it. Normally I suggest it for someone who's looking for a quick 1/2 day ski but the best idea this year is to stay as high elevation as you can. We're getting snow right now and hopefully we'll get more for your arrival.
Icefields Parkway: check road conditions and closures first. If it's listed as 'Poor' then it's usually really poor! No services and no cell coverage. Also, there are sometimes closures this time of year as a big avi cycle runs through the Rockies. The hotel and services at Columbia Icefield are closed in the winter so it's just a nice big empty glacier (crevasse hazard).
If the snow/ice conditions are good then Emerald Lake near Field is a beautiful spot for an easy XC ski.
