Thought I would open this thread for anyone seeking to arrange room-sharing at any time during the Jackson Hole Gathering.

I (61 year old conservative male non-smoker) plan to drive to Jackson from Tahoe or SLC arriving Thursday, Feb 26 for the first part of the Gathering. Plan to ski Feb 27, 28 and Mar 1. Departing evening of Mar 1 or possibly morning of Mar 2.

I will likely need to be at Denver Airport late afternoon Mar 2. Staying solo in a low budget $50-75 per night motel in Jackson will work fine for me for 3 or 4 nights at the Gathering, but I'd be interested if there is an opportunity to share a condo or better lodging arrangement at a similar nightly cost with another compatible person(s). Generally prefer to eat breakfast/dinners in room, but for this auspicious occasion might go out to dinner once or twice. I'll probably get lift tickets separately, but might consider a double/multiple occupancy lodging package with 3-day ticket deal. EpicSki member Needham, for example, reported in Oct that: The Elk Country Inn is offering ski packages on the Town Square Inns website ( ), 3 days skiing 3 nights lodging “STARTING from $269 plus tax and surcharge” based on double occupancy.

Another example from a recent post by EpicSki member Living Proof: Several years ago, Philpug did a mini-gathering at Jackson and we stayed at the 49er located right in the middle of the town of Jackson. There is a 3 bedroom suite located in the basement level. It's very basic, but, for a group on a tight budget, the cost is as low as it gets in Jackson. We had 5 people share the costs, You need to call the 49er directly to find out if it is available. The 49er provides private shuttle buses directly to the mountain, and, can offer discount tickets to ski Jackson for extended stays...don't know if the discounts will be available this year, but it's worth a phone call. The 49er is a far better location than Snow King when it comes to getting around in Jackson.
