I have a 3 yr old S7 for my powder ski in a 188 , I am 5"11 180lbs, thinking about replacing them with new super 7 same lenght 188. Question is, is there that much differance in the new super 7 to doit ? Thank you.[/I]

Big difference. The Super has a longer wheelbase that the S7 that you have. What I meant by longer wheelbase , that the Super has a longer contact length with its camber than the S7, combined with a somewhat lower tip profile and significantly lower tail makes the Super less nervous than the old S7 was, a more "mature" design and fell on and in the snow. The addition of the "air tip" & tail make the extremities lighter and allows the Super to feel much more nimble even with the longer contact length. IMHO, the Super7 is a very good upgrade from your S7.

Thank you so much for the info. I will probably pull the trigger on the Super 7:)

Air tips and tails might explode when waxing!  ;)
