I prefer tree skiing out west...or if not out west out of bounds, beyond the places that get bumped up. When I moved back east and they started opening up glades t felt strange to me, having bumps in the woods. I have gotten used to it but it still feels - not right somehow.
BTW, there are plenty of places in the west where the trees can be pretty tight.
nothing better on a deep day to ski bottomless trees but that's not really going to happen that often for a lot of people. As long as the bumps are soft, I don't mind them.
