All,

As I mention above looking for a 80-90mm 180+ cm long frontside/all mountain ski.   3-4 years old or less is possible.

Dump your unused ski's on me.

These look close to fitting the bill and are a damn good deal it looks like: http://www.epicski.com/t/130181/fs-blizzard-bushwacker-180cm-with-bindings-and-rome-notch-powder-snowboard-162cm

jmeb,

I actually spoke to him via PM several times.   I think those particular ski's are a bit short for me.  Your thoughts?   I'm 6'3  250 (on a good day) and those ski's are on the softer side.

Yep -- you're probably right with that additional info.

Other things that might help posters suggest a good ski: primary location you'll be skiing at, typical terrain, usual DIN, BSL / Boot size, price range.

I mean could I buy those ski's and enjoy them?  Yes, but they're not perfect.  Neither are the ski's I own now however.

FYI I ski the midwest, all conditions and runs.  Like skiing high speed solo and playful lines with the kids.  I have some snappy twin tips K2's I'll probably use when skiing with my kids.

These ski's would be for skiing with just me or with  the wife, small powder dumps and trips to Lutsen or out west.

Wider than you're looking for but I have some 180 Kabookies from last year I'm looking to sell.  1 mount, excellent condition.  PM me if interested.

I have some 178cm Kastle MX88's for sale if you'd be interested. Mounted with Marker Griffon Demo bindings so no remount needed.

You may want the 188cm version, but the 178cm may be better for you on a small Midwestern hill.

Head Monster 82 with new Marker Griffon bindings 177cm.  Very good condition.  Priced to sell.

2009 Head Monster im88 @ 186 w/ tyrolia FF+20 for $50 + shipping.  Maybe a bit too old for what you're looking for, but a really great ski that is currently just taking up space in my garage.

(Edit to mention that these have approximately 20 days on them and have tons on life left in them, they just don't get skied ever.  The edges are totally intact and the bases are fine (I'd get a base grind to reset the base edges), but there's a 4 inch tear in the topsheet, which I coated in epoxy -- PM for pictures, more info, etc...)

Sorry everyone but I believe I'm going to pick up Greg's K2 Aftershocks as those ski's fit what I'm looking for and he's local which is a huge plus...

Thanks for the help though everyone

Hi All,

I'm also looking a newer pair of skis. I mostly ski the groomed front side. I'm 6'1" 220 lbs.

I'm located in MN.

    Thanks,

I'm in St Paul MN - how about a pair of 184 Rossignol E83's with Tyrol Peak 15's? Excellent condition - maybe 7 days on them? Second mount.

$300 - negotiable.
