Canadian Rockies All Mountain Ski - 4Frnt Devastator or Gaucho/Cody

Hey,
So I've been using a Movement Couloir + Fritschi Freeride combo for all my skiing the last 3 years.  Came from big box store skies to those, so they worked well enough.  Didn't really have issues with the stack height of the AT bindings.
However, last year, I demo'd some K2 (I think) with standard DIN bindings and noticed how much more "in control" they felt vs the freerides.  So decided to pick up a pair of lift skies this year for the inbound stuff this year.

Have a line on some 4Frnt skis, but having trouble deciding between the Devastator and the Gaucho.
Anyone wanna weigh in?

5'6", 150 lbs

I'd say advanced skiier, and ski all mountain (trees, groomers, bumps...).
I'm out of Calgary, and mostly do Louise, with trips out to interior BC (Fernie, kicking horse).

Was leaning towards the Devastator, but wasn't really sure how it really differed from the Gaucho/Cody.

Thanks folks.
Starting to get cold and snowy here!

Freerides are good for what they are, but in a ski hill context a good alpine binding is definitely superior (I own both).

I have no experience with those skis so I won't comment, except to say this: if this is your primary pair for all around skiing in this region (hard groomers included) then I'd tend to pick the narrower one. Of course at 98mm it's still not really 'narrow'.   Some people love fatter skis when it hasn't snowed for a month, but I think they're a bit misguided.

But if you're a storm chaser then by all means, fatten up!
