Where to watch world cup races

Are these streamed anywhere other than the Universal Sports website?  I can't get the channel and thus, can't stream the video on the website and I would like to be able to watch the races.  Thanks.

Here's a thread for you:
Check out the end of the thread for the latest. My solution is to subscribe to Dishworld. The downside is that you only get U. Sports highly digested coverage, but it's cheap with good quality video, there's VOD for a week or so after an event, and you can watch via PC, mobile, or Roku.

A couple of weeks back I was frustrated by the fact that I could not watch any World Cup action on cable TV. Over 200 channels and no ski racing. I decided to post on Comcast's Facebook page suggesting they add Universal Sports to their line-up thinking nothing would become of it. Lo and behold, I got a response!

"Universal Sports has decided to switch from being carried over-the-air as a multicast broadcast channel to a cable channel. As a result, Comcast is in discussions with Universal Sports regarding possible continued distribution. - Pete"

Maybe if a few more Bears voiced their desire to have Universal Sports on Comcast they may get the message. How about it? I am sure that more than a few of us are on Facebook.

You can subscribe to UniversalSports through Dishworld for $10 per month, and you can cancel as soon as the season is over

I finally looked up this Dishworld as I'd never heard of it. I wish I had online streaming! Can't even get through a YouTube clip without it stopping. Jealous.

Universal Sports is on Directv, which I find superior after having Comcast for years and years!

Comcast has been talking about Universal Sports deal for at least a couple years now if not more. I wouldn't hold my breath!
