Size 16 (US) cross country ski boots?

Thread Starter

Hello,

Just moved to Colorado and want to do some cross country skiing. Problem is that I wear a size 16 US. Rental places don't carry that size. In fact, I'm having a hard time even finding ANYONE that makes boots that size. Any suggestions? I've seen some boots that claim to be made up to size 50, but nobody stocks them. And even size 50 is likely small for me, depending on the make. I'm probably more like a 51 or 52.

Thanks. Help is appreciated!

Andrew

I'm betting you saw Alpina;  Salomon labels theirs in UK sizes.
