Didn't know if this is the right place to post this but here goes nothing
Us friendly folks at the Duke Ski Team are hosting a screening of "No Turning Back" (Warren Miller's 65th anniversary film) at the Varsity Theatre in Chapel Hill (123 E Franklin St, Chapel Hill, NC 27514) on November 13th to raise money for our annual training trip and supplemental tuning equipment. Our team has recently become very competitive at a national level, sending our men's team to compete at USCSA nationals at Whiteface last year, with our notably better women's team missing out because of a single hooked gate. To reach this level, however, took a lot of training, which can be really tough to do in North Carolina (current conditions at Sugar not withstanding). That's why we need funding for our very expensive winter trip, which includes lodging, lift tickets, and race coaching.
That's why we're hosting this screening. Tickets are $15 and can be purchase online (https://www.eventbrite.com/e/warren-millers-65th-ski-film-no-turning-back-tickets-13835627735) or at the door. The festivities will begin at 7:00 with guest sponsors from The North Face, Red Bull, Sugar Mountain, and Alpine Ski Center, who will be giving out free items, setting up raffles for gear and lift tickets, and being generally friendly and interesting to talk to. If you can't make it, and would still like to support our team, the above link can also be used for donations.

We really appreciate the support
