Looking for suggestions to upgrade my Osprey Karve 16, looking for something around 25L, some of the features I'm looking for

hydration compatible

diagonal/a-frame ski carry

back panel access

hip belt pocket

load adjustment straps

versatile enough to use in the summer for day hikes, carry on, around town, parks, this kind of stuff

right now my top contenders are

1 - Mammut Nirvana Pro 25L: seems about perfect, has everything I'm looking for I believe

2 - Osprey Kode 22 / 30: also seems to have all I need, but I'm a little tired of the "too much straps" design from Osprey, not sure if this is also true for the Kode

some other I'm considering but lacking features

3 - Gregory Targhee 26L - I think it doesn't have hip belt pockets

4 - Mammut Nirvana Ride 22L - no back panel access, no hip belt pockets

5 - Deuter Freerider 26L - no back panel access, no hip belt pockets

6 - Mammut Ride PAS Ready - too heavy, $100 more expensive to be airbag ready and I won't be using an airbag anytime soon

I will be using this for avalanche class, backcountry guided day tours this winter, hiking to ski terrain. also skiing inbounds with the wife when I have to haul a bunch of stuff (yes, I prefer the backpack than stopping at the lodge or back to the parking lot). Also as I said summer use if very important, right now my osprey karve doesn't get much use in the summer because it's too small and stuff are all cramped inside.

Right now I'm leaning towards buying the Mammur Nirvana Pro 25L, it seems to have all the features I want/need and more...

What else is out there that I'm missing? Ortovox, Black Diamond anything worth looking at? Anyone has any experience with the Nirvana Pro 25L, one important feature for me is how well the pack works when not full, do the compression straps do a good job?

Another question I have is about the size, is ~25L about right? Too big, too small or maybe both too big for everyday and too small for avalanche class, guided tours.
