I think the operative word in the title of markojp's thread is "would": What would be your ultimate 3-ski quiver?
Some people seem to be assuming that this is a "what is your quiver this year?" thread. Now, if your actual quiver aligns perfectly with your fantasy quiver, then by all means list away. And congratulations on being well-adjusted and in the black.Or maybe that's in the red. Not sure.
IDK man, seems like a lot of peeps in this thread wouldn't change their rides even if they're trading someone else's dough. Maybe we're seeing quiver saturation, the death of ski lust?
Ha! Well, I doubt it but I think that describes me this year. Really happy with what I've been on for awhile now, complete absence of lust for the ski wall.
For the record,
Hard days = Hart Javelin
Soft days = Bluehouse Maestro
Deep days = Bluehouse Mavens
Certainly don't think this particular quiver is for everyone but for me I'm not sure how much more ultimate it gets. Something bigger, more pow specific than the Mavens? Well, maybe I'll finally mount my Powder Boards this year. Something shorter and turnier? I could bring my SLs to the mountain but I really only enjoy those on the little hills. A crazy 88? Something in the 90s? a one oh (sic) something? All attempts to stoke my lust have failed this year.
Geez man, the idea of only skiing three boards leaves me lusting after..... all the other opportunities already in my quiver.
