I have been to New Zealand twice in the South Island. I havent skied all the Club fields, or the North Island.
I had a great time in Queenstown and Wanaka. I would split my time between Queentown and Wanaka.
Queenstown: Ski at "Cornet Peak", and "The Remarkables"
Wanaka: "Treble Cone" and Cardrona"
•All these resorts have at least one high speed chair
•Treble Cone is #1..........nice terrain, has some good steeps
•Cardona has two high speeds, and has super fun "" terrain, intermediate
•You can hit all these one resorts from base area if you are willing to drive, or take the bus shuttle
•Harris Helicopter Skiing is quite good, easy to get to, if you have the money to heli a day I would
•take a day trip to the Fiords, and not ski that day
•Scenery is stunning, people are great,
•Queenstown is " Party Central", tons of nice bars
