A blue is a blue is a blue. Or is it?
When we fall into skiing vernacular we frequently refer to the "relative difficulty" of a particular resort/mountain and how each resort grades the difficulty of its runs. I am curious to see what your experience is in the relative difficulty from mountain-to-mountain.
I learned to ski at Telluride and only after many days there did I venture off to other mountains. I was shocked when I showed up at Keystone, Breckenridge and Copper Mountain where everything was a lot less steep and less moguled. I was skiing black runs there in Summit County that were blues at Telluride. I quickly learned about the relative difficulty from place to place.
Based upon my experience out West, here is how I would lump the resorts.
In your opinion, how would you rate the places you have been to on their relative difficulty of grading runs?
