OK,
This announcement is particularly for British readers:
Please use:

Just Giving

As it will allow tax to be claimed back for your donations.
I'm not sure if they accept foreign donations, maybe someone outside the UK could try for me.
I shall be transferring the money donated so far from my paypal account into this one.

Thanks

Wear The Fox Hat

Count me in for $25. (PM me how) When I get paid mid September I'll send it along with my yearly donation to EpicSki(sent to AC, not you).

Do us proud. Wear the emblem with pride.

Oh, are the 24 peaks covered with snow or with your favorite suds?

Hi, KeeTov,
Thanks!
You can either use Just Giving (this link is straight to my page)

Or Paypal and for the recipient address use WTFH@epicski.com

Loke,
After a good start, it has slowed down a bit, but I'm sure with a bit of encouragement, we can get some generous donations from the Epic community for SCOPE.

Ok then,

Come on Fox you can do it. I know you can, don't stop now, keep going, the line's only just up there, you're nearly there.

That sort of encouragment or more along the lines of:

SCOPE's a great charity and does great work, give generously and we won't firebomb your house?

or:

SCOPE's a great charity and does great work please give generously.

Whichever encouragment you need I think I've covered it but the serious (third effort in case you were wondering) is the most important and the truest. They are a good charity and do a LOT of good, practical and helpful work for people affected.

OK, Loke,
How's this...

"SCOPE's a great charity and does great work please give generously."

And I've updated the giving page ( www.justgiving.com/wtfh ) to include a bit more info.

Thanks,

S

The site looks good and I think it'll help. I'll see if I can drum up some donations for you. I guess you're finding out who your real friends are now, huh?

You're welcome. Have FUN and take lots of great pictures to post here so we can all be jealous.

If every member sends Fox a dollar....

Fox

I'd like to sponsor you for this great cause, but it seems much more fun to join you on the Challenge! And for good measure I may well have another volunteer to join that challenge. Does Austria have snow in March!

However, will it get in the way of a crazy idea of my own involving our other joint interest - cycling? This is the first public notice of the S2S challenge - cycling from Source to Sea alongside the River Thames. Or is two crazy challenges good for the soul.

Will speak/PM on the SCOPE 24 peaks idea.

All the best for raising the funds

KT,
Thanks!
(and thanks for remembering - it means I don't have to be seen to be nagging all the time for people to give)
