How to Remove Head PRD Toe Piece

Hi,

I have searched and searched and cannot find the answer to this, it is not in the tech manuals that are available online and all everybody says is "slide on slide off" but there is definitely a lock so that it cannot slide off if the teeth on the rail break.

Can anybody tell me how to release the lock and slide off the toe? I have tried pushing in the grey pieces of plastic on the sides and sliding the toe but it doesn't seem to work like that. I have tried with the toe on and off the slide plate. I need to remove the whole binding so I need to get the entire toe piece including slider off to access the forward mounting bolts.

Thanks in advance!

Turns out there was some mud in the rails, they do just slide off but it took a lot of force. The locks are not a full engagement type lock, they offer some resistance but if you got any junk in the rails they can become fully locked.
