In a thread about Hotronics,http://www.epicski.com/t/129613/advice-about-electronic-boot-heaters-boot-warmers/30#post_1780274 a couple of posts mentioned the rituals of making sure to be ready for a "simple" day of skiing on the slopes.
There's already other forums about boots and another about tuning. Will take the prep for those for granted. Mostly I'm wondering about all the little extra gadgets that we have to make sure are ready for "game day". Not so much on things we need to bring and are ready because we remembered them.
For me it's:
Hotronics batteries need to be charged*
Personal iPhone charged*+
Work iPhone charged*^
LG bluetooth headphones charged*
GoPro charged (don't use it often but like to have it available)*
Video Camera charged*
* I bring the charger also
+also have assorted apps that I usually forget to turn on
^ I leave it in my bag and check at lunch and closing bell (only)
I also bring:
Dryguy Turbodry (little orange heater) and usually warm boots on the way to the mountain.
I like to believe that I'm not alone in this, but my wife has pointed out that each winter I take over the spare bedroom for mine and my daughters ski gear (minus skis and poles) and the lights dim when all is plugged in. That and I'm spoiled. One of the the other coaches (female one at that) calls me Princess though that is mostly about my "stay warm" gear.
Anyone else. Please tell me I'm not the worse.
