Head i.Peak 78 vs. Dynastar Sultan 80

Hi,

I'm getting ready to purchase a pair of skis within the next week or so, and I am trying to decide between the Peak 78 and Sultan 80. I live on the East Coast in North Carolina and most of my trips are limited to eastern resorts with the occasional trip out West. I am 5'11" and 150 pounds, and consider myself to be a seven or eight level skier. I chose the two because I am looking for a good one-ski quiver but I want to keep it fairly cheap as a an introductory ski purchase. Any advice regarding better of the two skis or a completely different recommendation that would suit my needs would be greatly appreciated.

I have the i.peak 78 and it is my favorite ski rigtht now. Between me and the kids, we have 20 pairs or so, mostly race skis and the ipeak rocks. Can easily do the entire mountain, very good on hardpack, chop, slush... Didnt get much powder last season though. If you get on it the right way, you can get it down to 12m radius, and it's got a lot of snap to it - not like a race ski but good. Love it. I guess you could say I'm expert on piste, but well behind on moguls and such though - this year I plan to diversify a bit.

I would say it is easy to ski and rewarding when you use it well, you should have a lot of fun.
I am 5'7 and 145 and i got the 171cm - that one was on sale.
