Wiggly foot-plate thing on tecnicha demon

So last season I kept feeling the plate that the liner rests directly on top of doing little shifts whenever I moved my left foot. I feel like there's probably something the bootfitter forgot to tighten all the way. Anyways I feel like this should be an easy fix but there doesn't appear to be a publicly available technical manual (surprise surprise). Also I really don't want to drive all the way to the boot-fitter (a state away) just to have them tighten a screw for me, but I don't really see a screw to screw in on this thing. Which brings me to you guys...How do I get this sucker to stay in place?

EDIT: Yikes typo in the title. Also they're Tecnica Demon 110's in case that's relevant at all.

Pull that thingy out and see if there is anything under it causing it to rock.

after you have checked under the boot board, it should snap down in place on a plastic plug in the heel, or it is held in place by a small, 3/8" sheet metal screw with a pan head on it that screws into a raised plastic post.

Thanks I'll give it a yank when I get home. It might be from all the shavings when I had the toe ground out. I hope it's not a result of the stretch it got or else I don't think there's much I can do about that.

Cleared out a whole bunch of boot dust from when the fitter did the grind, hopefully that helps. I'm guessing that there is some movement in that plate by design? It only plugs in the heel and it looks like the guides have a millimeter or two of space to each side. Oh well as long as there's no dramatic movement under my feet that I'm fine with it. Now to fix that ingrown toenail so I'm not in intense pain....
