I apologize if this post is deemed inappropriate in these forums. Admins, please feel free to remove this at your discretion.

My 18-yo daughter, Si Ning Chan (formerly a USSA racer from the East Coast), was named to the national team this spring as a freestyle aerialist. She is trying to rally help to launch off this new stage of her career. Please watch the video and consider contributing to this fund. Any amount helps and we appreciate it if you share this elsewhere. Thanks for your support.

@chanwmr do you have an image I can use to feature this on the home page?

You've been around here a long time and it would be great to see if we can help you get the word out.

I swiped these from her Facebook

When you acquire something from another's facebook wall we refer to that as "facelifted"

And congrats and good luck to OP's daughter.  We're all proud of our kids, yours seems to be doing quite well!  It is always refreshing to see a really good skier that can do advanced gymnastics in aerials rather than the fulltime gymnast that manages to also be able to land the trick on skis as of late.

Haha! You beat me to it Snowfan! Steal away!

And Trekchick, please let me know if you need anything else.

Hey, all of you guys are awesome!!!

Almost 10% in the first 48 hours, just over $1200.  Be neat if the campaign could finish by Thanksgiving so that Si Ning could enjoy the school holidays and focus on her training without worrying about fundraising.

I've known chanwmr personally for many years. I work with  him, and ski with him. I've skied with Si Ning quite some time ago, and my two daughters (both younger than Si Ning) keep in touch with her and chanwmr's other daughter on social media.

Si Ning is an awesome young lady - strong, bright, fearless on skis, very personable and humble. We've been watching her progress, and are continually amazed at what she achieves so quickly.

WC - catch up with you at work, and I'll pass this info around.

Excellent post...happy to help. I was so moved by Bill Kerig's "Ready to Fly" doc on the Woman's Ski Jumping team that I've been a supporter ever since. Nothing big, $40 or so at a time. If we all just put in a little here and there for these great kids, it goes a long way...

Looks like Si Ning's campaign has almost reached the 10% mark. Need just a little more to put her over. Between full time training at the Park City Olympic Center and college courses, I image she's pretty busy these days.

Bumped. Again, sorry if you feel spammed by this.

Because the fundraiser is closing in 2 weeks, we're making a last plea for support through these forums. Si Ning and I do not intend to run another campaign until IF and when she makes the future Olympics.

Again, any amount is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Please follow her on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/SiNingChanAerialist

Thanks, Wai
